Affordable Housing Opportunities by O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Increasing Access to Safe and Affordable Housing The Housing Division of O.C.E.A.N., Inc. strives to enhance the supply of affordable housing in Ocean, Monmouth, and Atlantic Counties. Our goal is to provide low-income individuals and families with access to safe and sanitary housing that fits their budget. Expanding Rental Options for Low-Income Families O.C.E.A.N., Inc. is dedicated to offering affordable rental housing to those in need. Through the construction of new units and the rehabilitation of existing ones, we have already created one hundred forty-six homes within Ocean, Monmouth, and Atlantic Counties. Special Housing Initiatives for Seniors At the Macedonia/O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Senior Complex, we provide one-bedroom rental units exclusively for eligible senior residents. Additionally, we offer thirty-five units at Emerald Terrace in Barnegat, specifically tailored for low-income seniors in Southern Ocean County. How to Apply for Affordable Housing To inquire about the availability and eligibility requirements for affordable housing, please contact O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Interested families must establish their eligibility and will be placed on a waiting list. We will then notify them as soon as homes become available for rent.
