Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide work-force families in Central Oregon with the opportunity to reside in safe and affordable housing. By constructing affordable housing units, Building Partners for Affordable Housing aims to alleviate the local housing crisis and improve living conditions for those in need. Qualification Process: To ensure fairness and suitability, qualified applicants will be required to submit applications and meet certain need-based criteria. This step aims to prioritize individuals and families who truly require affordable housing solutions. Affordability Criteria: Building Partners for Affordable Housing follows the generally accepted definition of affordability, which stipulates that a household should not spend more than 30% of its annual income on housing costs.
