This midtown Camarillo unit (Ponderosa and Temple) is a newly constructed studio apartment with a private entrance and storage shed. The air-conditioned apartment has French doors, 10' vaulted ceilings, and a skylight for lots of natural light. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven, stove, and ample storage. The living space includes a built-in for a TV under a breakfast bar and has room for a small sectional sofa. The 3/4 bathroom has a sink with storage and a shower, plus a solar tube and a small window for more natural light. The unit also includes a small pantry, built-in bookshelves, and a closet. White walls and exposed beams create a stylish, clean ambiance. The owners live onsite in the main residence, which shares one sound-proofed wall with the unit. Gas, electric, trash, water, internet, and landscaping are included in the rental price. We require a minimum of a one-year lease. Renters may not sublease the apartment at any time. Only those whose names are listed on the lease (and minor children) may live in the unit. Rent may increase upon transition to a month-to-month contract upon completion of original lease. The owner pays for water, electricity, internet, gas, water, trash, and landscaping; your contribution is included in the rental payment. The owners ask that the renter conserve water in dishwashing and bathing practices and electricity in cooling. No pets are permitted. On-street parking only is available. A security deposit and first month's rent are due at signing. Rent is then due on the 1st of the month thereafter and paid through Zillow. The security deposit includes a $250 nonrefundable cleaning and painting fee. This is a quiet, friendly neighborhood, so we kindly ask for limited noise and no large parties. There will be absolutely no drug use or smoking of any substance on the property. These behaviors and any form of aggression toward the owners or neighbors will result in eviction. Per California law, the owners reserve the right to enter the unit with no less than 24 hours' notice. Other standard details are described in the lease.
