Welcome to the Maplewood Cozy! This apartment is on the third floor of a three-family house on one of the best streets in West Hartford. You are less than two miles from West Hartford Center/Blue Back Square Just imagine doing your morning workout and jogging past all the restaurants, shops, outdoor coffee spots, and all the other people strolling through the center. It makes for an entertaining loop and you even forget that you are working out. If you don't run like me, just being a minute drive to some of the best happy hours like Max Oyster Bar is an awesome way to spend a Friday after work. There is also live music in the summer at Blue Back Square or your choice of about 10 different ice cream shoppes. The apartment is about 900 sq. ft and has a flexible layout. The room in the front could be another bedroom or a traditional living room. The two other bedrooms are flanked to the left and right of the hallway as you make your way to the back. There is one full bathroom and an efficient kitchen in the back. There is good natural light in the morning in the east facing kitchen. Best of all this is a great opportunity to get into West Hartford with an affordable rent. There are terrific tenants on the 1st and 2nd floor. There is affordable electric heat because there is a thermostat control in each room and because heat rises from the lower floors. Tenant would just be responsible for an electric bill and no other utility bills. The average bill is around $175 a month. Owners pays for water. Ideally one parking spot off the street but may have the possibility for two. We do provide a washer and dryer for the unit. We have a very strict application process that focuses on good credit. A minimum credit score of 675 is required. There is also a back ground check, employment and income verification. One month security deposit with strong application.
