In 2021, The Laurel opened 66 historically renovated apartments across studio and 1-bedroom floorplans. Debuting as "the most elegant flat building" in 1893 the Laurel was home to the rising stars and socialites of the era. After more than 100 years from its original opening, The Laurel was awarded the "Minneapolis Preservation Award" in 2022 upon its 21st century debut Designed to the highest historic standards each apartment offers an elevated living experience that combines 20th century elegance with contemporary convenience. All floorplans feature original historic elements including fireplaces, tile, built-in buffets, butler's closets, and archways.
