Are you weary of housing consisting of beige, grey, and tan? Do you wonder if all houses in the area look the same? Do you dream of non-matching Tiffany-style glass fixtures complemented by an eclectic 80's era stained glass staircase? Well buckle up folks cause this house is a manifestation of my crumbling mind and 40+ year old building choices. Basic stuff: This is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath house situated on just over half and acre. It will be mentioned again; however, please note that the HOA in this area restricts occupants to, no more, than two (2) unrelated individuals. Additionally, I am an active Texas Realtor which is a disappointment to me, but necessary for me to relay for ethical reasons. Now for some of the "fun" items: 1) Yes, the shower in the main bedroom does, quite literally, open into the bedroom. 2) Yes, I do realize I have used lots of different colorful paint throughout the home. Color is fun. 3) Yes, I agree, the fixtures don't inherently match. It could be, possibly, I did that intentionally. 4) Can you lay blankets on the gazebo roof and watch the stars. No. The university refuses to turn off the stadium at night and, therefore, the light pollution is too great. I miss the stars. 5) The house is, effectively, a long hallway. I have hopefully structured the photos to show this. If you are looking for the open-concept most commonly built these days, this is not that house. They really built it with walls in mind. 6) I love my kitchen and will miss the storage space. It had a door when I move in. It no longer has a door. Technical fun items: 1) Recently installed carpet upstairs. I've slept on it. Quality stuff. 2) Two water heaters (One installed this year). 3) Spray foam insulation completed last year. It has greatly helped with temperature control. 4) Currently running 1gb fiber internet through Frontier (Current ISP). I will maintain this utility throughout the lease. This is less because I want to and more because I despise calling the ISP and would rather not do that. There is a community building with a pool and tennis courts that is accessible to residents of the neighborhood. This requires a fob from the HOA. I do not presently have one though this is easily rectified should you want access. Gentle reminder: This home is subject to an HOA restriction of two unrelated individuals or fewer. Additionally, the owner is a licensed Texas realtor.
