This 1200 sq ft country cabin is on 5 acres with wrap-around porch, is 20 minutes south of New Braunfels, 1 mile from Bracken & Garden Ridge, and 25 minutes north of the River Walk. It has a gated entry, very private, secure and quiet in a country setting. Owners are on property and can provide a wealth of local information. Also living on property are 2 resident dogs, several chickens and 4 peacocks. The cabin has central AC/heat, and full size washer/dry. It is fully furnished and a fully equipped kitchen provided. TV's in living room and bedroom have local TV antenna, cable TV available at renters expense. Solid oak floor throughout and a wonderful large deck to watch the sunset. Common areas include a large patio, BBQ area and a 22,000 gallon Koi pond. The cabin is set in a country setting with white tail deer roaming through the property daily. Other common Texas wild life may include raccoon, armadillo, fox and roadrunners, as well as, numerous bird species. We are closely associated with the Bracken Bat Cave. There are 2 Walmart's within 5 miles and you can be anywhere in San Antonio from 20 - 45 mins depending on traffic. Fredericksburg and the hill country areas are 1.5 hours and Corpus Christi is 2.5 hours. Brauning & Calaveras Lakes are fresh water power plant lakes stocked with hybrid Redfish, Stripper and catfish. Your personal boat is welcomed to be stored on the property while staying with us. The property is a nonsmoking property. No pet preferred. All bills are included in the monthly rent - electricity, water, trash, internet, lawn care and maintenance. Spectrum TV cable is available at the renters expense. Open parking for up to 2 cars is available. Minimum 1 month rental contract is required followed by month to month with a required 30 day notice to vacate. $75 nonrefundable fee will be required with application prior to renting for background and credit check. $150.00 cleaning fee will be subtracted from the deposit when vacating.
