Well-maintained 2 bedroom/2 bath house for rent for four months, semi-negotiable dates of December 15, 2023 - April 15, 2024. Three miles south of downtown Helena on a paved road that gets plowed by the county every morning before 7:30. Easy access to town and amenities. 15 minutes to airport and hospital. Less than 10 minutes to downtown, grocery stores, and entertainment (including Helena's many breweries). Easy, close access to Helena's impressive hiking and mountain biking trail system. 45 minutes to Great Divide ski area. The house is fully furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen: it is turn-key and ready to go. About 2,400 sq. feet on one level. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the other bedroom has a single bed, and a guest bedroom/office has a queen Murphy bed. The office is a great set-up for working from home. The second bedroom also has a desk to work from. Large mudroom for your outdoor gear. Includes washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave. All modern appliances. Water, wi-fi (fiber optic), septic, included. One slot is available in the attached two-car garage. We heat primarily with a modern woodstove and have a backup forced air furnace. We will have some firewood already stacked; you may need to get additional. If you decide to regularly run the furnace instead of the woodstove, you will be responsible for propane refill. Short driveway for shoveling. Renters responsible for snow removal. House sits on two fenced acres with plenty of elbow room; night stars included, plus a hot tub. This home is dear to us. We need a 4-month commitment to make this work. House may be available slightly earlier and longer if need be. We've rented it on a short-term basis for the last 5 winters, and it has worked well. Preference is given to a couple as the house is a bit large for a single person to manage. Best if at least one person is present during the day. A well-behaved cat or small dog ( 40 lbs) is a possibility upon approval. Extra $250 security deposit for a pet. Insulated, outdoor dog kennel available.
