Maintenance Responsibilities: Tenants are responsible for minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing batteries, and maintaining the yard. As previously mentioned, damages resulting from pets or gatherings are the tenant's responsibility to address. Termination: To terminate the lease, tenants must provide a notice 30 days in advance. If a tenant chooses to break the lease early, they are liable for continuing to pay rent until the property is rented to a new tenant or until the owner opts to move back into the property, whichever occurs first.
