Fully renovated, fully furnished upstairs unit in quiet, safe neighborhood 10 minutes from all three hospitals and university. All utilities and internet included, small pets allowed upon approval. Renovations were completed in 2021 and feature high end finishes like solid wood Ikea cabinets with soft close drawers and hinges, under cabinet lighting, solid wood doors, up-down blinds, all new appliances etc! The unit is truly beautiful and is very comfortably set up with furnishings, as it has been operated as a high end short term rental in the past (we are out of the short term rental market for good--looking for long term tenants). Linens, towels, all kitchen equipment included. The community is in a very low crime pocket of Anchorage, on a safe, primarily owner-occupied street. The house sits on a large 1/4 acre, south facing, fenced yard with established raspberry and strawberry plants and raised beds available for gardening. A very limited amount of shelving storage is available in the garage and shed, but the garage does not come with the unit and is not available for tenant vehicles. Off street parking for two cars is available. The house is shared between two long term rental units. 1902 (this unit) is upstairs and accessed through the front door/arctic entry. There is a downstairs unit, rented long term, with separate access. The washer/dryer are shared between the two units. Snow removal and yard care are the shared responsibility of the tenants. Because of the shared nature of the property, we are looking for quiet professionals. Cats or a small dog are allowed upon approval (pet rent, pet deposit, and/or higher cleaning fee may apply depending on situation). Large or loud dogs are not a good fit for this property. Smoking is not allowed in the house. First month's rent and security deposit of one month's rent due upon lease signing. Unit is professionally cleaned prior to move in; professional cleaning cost is shared between landlord and tenant, cost to tenant is approximately $200 without pets and up to $400 with pets.
