Perfect for a family with 2-3 small kids! The house will come fully furnished with 2 queen beds, and 1 twin bed. We have enjoyed growing tomatoes and flowers and watching the community garden grow across the street from our front porch. There is an active railway line on the other side of the Butler Community Garden. West 9th St is very quiet with easy access to 7th St which has a protective bike lane to commute to IU campus, 1.3 miles to Sample Gates. There is private off-street parking which is unique for the neighborhood. The house was built in 2014 but we have made some minor renovations such as fans in all the bedrooms, hardwood bamboo floors, and remodeled the first-floor bathroom. The Near Westside Neighborhood is a very walkable area close to Butler Park, the B-line, Farmers Market and downtown restaurants. The house will be available for 2 years starting August 1, 2024. There is an apartment above the detached garage used as an Airbnb, and we will be living in the neighborhood to attend to it. City of Bloomington will only allow 3 unrelated adults to occupy this house. Families are most welcome. Owner pays all utilities (gas, water, electric and high-speed internet). $3000 deposit due at signing. No pets allowed. No smoking allowed. Not 420 friendly.
