There is an outdoor shower, kayak and beach chairs. The front porch is screened and perfect for dinner and games. There is also a back deck with grill and outdoor shower. This is a family cottage and very simply furnished for a causual and perfect summer vacation in Madison, Connecticut. We have our beach for familys in our neighborhood only. There are also town beaches and Hammonasset State beach, all gorgeous and all within 2 miles of cottage. There is a town boat launch within a mile and wonderful sweet streets to meander. The town has a fantastic book store, movie theatre, ice cream shop, cheese shop, wine shop with lots of boutiques for shopping. This is a private cottage on a sleepy street and is perfect for someone looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation. This is a family neighborhood and not suited for parties or loud music. think bbq and stargazing and long peaceful walks. Price for academic year only. You can also rent weekly for $1,600 weekly rate with a three week minimum. Summer months of JULY AND AUGUST ARE RENTED 2023. All utilities are included, pets are welcome, there is a pet deposit required. This is a non smoking house, please do not smoke in house or porch. There is room for 1-2 cars in driveway and a wheelchair ramp. This cottage is in a family neighborhood and guests are asked to please keep this in mind, this is not a property for parties or loud music. This cottage will be available for academic rental beginning SEPTEMBER 2023 for $2,500 monthly and includes all utilities.
