Our unique home is much larger than listed, but we have closed off parts of the house for our "debris" and personal effects until we return. But the majority of the house is open. Our home is a mid-century modern design by famous University of Arizona professor William Kirby Lockard. The property is completely walled, safe and private. It is a private oasis in the center of Tucson, with fish pond, shade, and lots of birds. It is solar powered and also has Tesla backup batteries. A new 16 SEER high efficiency AC unit was installed recently. Our home comes fully equipped just as when we live there. It even has a nearly 100 year old baby grand piano. Our home is adjacent to Rio Vista Natural Resource Park and easy biking or walking to Trader Joe's, St Phillips Plaza, restaurants, grocery, etc and only 500 yards from the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club, yet our home feels like a country estate. And just down the street is the 115 mile "LOOP" bike and walking path that circles the entire City of Tucson. Biking distance to the University, and UMC Banner, walking distance to Banner Health North Campus, easy drive to Tucson Medical Center, etc. Convenient to everything. Our insurance carrier limits the size and breed of any dog on the property to 30 lbs or less, Prohibited specific breeds are as follows, pit bulls, mastif, German Shepard, chow, husky, Rottweiler and other breeds not named, but included in the insurers list of breeds. We Limit to a single adult or 1 couple due to the limited space and sleeping quarters, and layout of our unique home. Why is the rent so much below market rates? There is a catch. We are looking for people who will care for and respect our home while we're away. And, that they will care for the yard, the fish pond, plants, etc etc, as well as respect our neighbors peace and quiet lifestyle. In fact, all of that is a requirement written into the AZ Lease Agreement. Entire property is non-smoking. Please do not disturb owners or current tenants. 7 month lease from 5/1/24 to 10/31/2024
