The Tara, built in 1887, is a beautifully remodeled home on the Terraces which are river side in downtown Bellaire, Mi. Minutes from skiing at Schuss Mountain, Glacial hills hiking and biking trails, and a few minutes walk to downtown The Tara is centrally located to the entire Chain of Lake region. Our quaint town of Bellaire is home to nationally known Short's Brewery where you will find a very large selection of handcrafted beers, specialty pizzas and signature sandwiches. You will find great eats and drinks throughout town. So, you can dine where the locals do at the Bellaire Bar, Toonie's Fish and Steak House or the Corner Bistro. Mammoth Brewery serves up crafted cocktails from their award winning distilled liquors and you will find meade and ciders at the Bee Well. In downtown Bellaire, just a short walk from the Tara, you will find a number of interesting gift shops such as The Flying Pig, Uniquely North, Paddles and Pedals, and The 45th Parallel. Treasures Treasures, the corner toy store, has something for kids of every age! And finally, no visit to Bellaire would be compete without a double scoop of Ice Cream from Ruthie's Ice Cream Shop. Rental price includes heat, water, electricity, and internet. Dogs are allowed. Responsibilities: Clear driveway, porch and pathways of snow and ice. Restrictions: No Smoking Out buildings are not usable and are accessed by owner year round.
