Situated on a bluff overlooking the Long Island Sound, Connecticut and beyond. This two bedroom home plus guest house is just what the doctor ordered: a tranquil retreat with exceptional views. To arrive at the property you enter through a wooded private road surrounded by Peconic Land Trust property. You are close to all the North Fork has to offer yet it feels so far away. As you enter the home you walk into the open living room and kitchen with vaulted ceilings which is airy and flooded with natural light. You can't help but gravitate towards the sitting area with spectacular views of the Sound. To the right of the entrance is a bedroom which faces southeast and gets great morning light. The second bedroom is on other side of the living area, faces west and has views of the sea. It's a great spot to take afternoon naps, read that book you've been putting off or just take in the glimmer of the sun hitting the sea. The property has a formal dining area but also a small dining space in the sitting room to have breakfast or fresh seafood you just picked up from Southold Fish Market. The guest house is just a few steps away and great place for family members or friends who want to be close but not too close. It features a sleep area, its own full bath, a sitting area, laundry and all with full views of the water as well. There are approximately 60 steps down from the property to an isolated and pristine beach.Grill, take a nice outdoor shower, tell stories by the fire pit, play some yard games, surf-cast on the beach or just relax and do nothing. The Wi-Fi reaches all the way down to the beach for those remote work days while still keeping your feet in the sand.Close to all the vineyards, beaches, trails, Greenport (8 miles) and all the restaurants/shops it has to offer. We look forward to hosting you.We abide by local vacation rental laws.
